Following a significant debut in Latin America, VIDAA, a company best known for its self-titled smart TV operating system, today announced the launch of its new operating system for Hinsense smart TVs.
VIDAA, which is only three years old, already streams material to 180 nations and territories on average for one billion hours each month. The quick and potent operating system of VIDAA also supports Airplay 2 and includes additional strong features including VIDAA Voice (plus Google Voice and Alexa), VIDAA TV, a FAST service, and VIDAA mobile remote control. The company’s expansion plan started in Europe and has since expanded to the Middle East, Australia, Asia, and most recently Latin America. VIDAA has been selected as the operating system for smart TVs by 150 OEM companies. With the launch in the US market, VIDAA is now completely available worldwide in all important markets.
Since VIDAA is a Hisense subsidiary, it can benefit from Hisense’s intentions to overtake market leaders Samsung and LG. Hisense is now the second-largest television maker by units delivered. As shipments of its branded TVs increased 30% between January and October 2022, Hisense is experiencing a rise in momentum. The firm has also experienced steady growth for eight consecutive months. This momentum, together with Hisense’s recent sponsorship of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which attracted 26 million viewers in the United States alone for the final, is another indication of the company’s ongoing success and ascension to international renown.
