Aleees-KY (TWSE:5227), a maker of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery materials, has provided a website update on the status of customer certification. As of right now, Aleees has 39 customers, the winner-takes-all effect has been seen in the European market, and several companies have started ramping up their mass production. Aleees added three customers from Europe, three from the US, and one from another region since May 2022. These customers used Aleees’ terminal applications for energy storage, electric cars, electric trucks, and solid-state batteries. The majority of the clients are renowned multinational corporations.
Aleees intends to update shareholders on the status of product development and certification every January and July on the company website, subject to adherence to the confidentiality agreement. Since the cycle of product development and certification for energy storage and electric vehicle clients is approximately 3 to 5 years, the firm promptly informs shareholders of the status of product development certification in accordance with the confidentiality agreement.
The third phase of continuous trial production and supplier certification as well as the fourth phase of official mass production have been entered by a total of 12 clients, as stated by Aleees. One European client has swiftly moved from the second to the fourth phase of certification progress for one manufacturer, and one Japanese client has also done the same, moving from the first to the third phase.
