The Hubei provincial branch of the Cyberspace Administration of China (the "CAC") has sent an inspection team to the company as a result of some alleged violations of content rules and regulations on its platform, according to DouYu International Holdings Limited ("DouYu" or the "Company"), a leading game-centric live streaming platform in China and a pioneer in the eSports value chain. The Company's content platform will be inspected by the CAC team on-site for a month, and DouYu will fully comply. In parallel, DouYu is conducting a thorough internal evaluation of its content monitoring system. Based on the CAC inspection and its own internal investigation, DouYu plans to put all required corrective measures into place as a platform dedicated to regulatory compliance and the security of its user community.
