SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 20, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Remind, the leading communication platform in education, announced today that their third quarter recorded a record of activity, driven by districts that want to consolidate communication, support classroom communication, and drive engagement.
It has been announced that Remind, the company's enterprise product for schools and districts, now counts over 1,000 district customers across the US and Canada. For the first time, Remind has also revealed that over 6 million students are covered by the Remind plan.
According to Brian Grey, Remind's CEO, "With active users in nearly 80% of public schools in the U.S., it was a natural choice for administrators seeking to improve engagement at the school and district levels"
Grey said, "The increased use of Remind we've seen in the past year indicates that simple, accessible communication is more important than ever when it comes to distance education." It is a tool not only for teachers who work hard to connect with their students virtually, but also for administrators who want to track the engagement across their organizations.
A few of the new and expanded district partnerships that Remind announced in the third quarter include:
As part of the company's back-to-school releases, Remind also recently announced Remind Coaching, a brand-new solution for online learning support that was announced as a part of its back-to-school releases.
A number of challenges are ahead of us this school year, and educators and families alike need the right tools to deal with them," Grey said. In the past couple of months, we have been working hard to onboard new schools, roll out product enhancements, and build our first service on top of our core communication platform, and now it's time to turn our attention to the coming year.
