There is a turf war escalating in the US wireless carrier space; who’s winning and why? Market Force Study Reveals the Rankings

T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T are the three major US carriers that are fighting to dominate their respective markets and gain a dominating share of the market. There are three different value propositions for customers offered by the three carriers. With a focus on bundling, customization, service reliability, network quality, and data speeds, Verizon positions itself as a premium carrier that leads the charge. However, T-Mobile has successfully positioned itself as a provider of value in the market, offering free devices, bundles of devices, lower cost plans to multiple line subscribers, and valuable perks like streaming services, all while boasting about fast download speeds and wide coverage in their ads.. AT&T is the third player in this battle who has a broad positioning in the market that emphasizes network quality, bundling, international coverage, as well as their ability to customize plans to meet any combination of needs that a consumer may have. All of them have something to offer US consumers, but when the results were tallied, there was a clear winner that stood out in the crowd

As a rule, customers tend to stay with one of the major carriers for a number of years, but the current study shows that value-first and non-contract carriers are also being successful in attracting customers away from the major carriers. At the same time that the industry continues to mature, the services and value propositions are converging with little difference in customer perceptions of quality at the time of purchase, as the industry matures..
