RSNA 2023: CodaMetrix Announces Agreement to Bring AI-Powered Automated Coding to More Healthcare Providers

52 0
With this announcement, CodaMetrix has entered into a strategic distribution agreement with GE HealthCare to offer its cloud-based, autonomous coding solution, CMX AutomateTM, to its customers. This agreement will enable GE HealthCare customers to rapidly benefit from CodaMetrix's CMX Automate solution that utilizes artificial intelligence (AI)-powered autonomous medical coding to enhance both quality and efficiency in coding. According to KLAS Research, CMX Automate is no. 1 in the category of "Reduce Cost of Care".
CodaMetrix will provide live product demonstrations at GE HealthCare's booth 7326 at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 2023 annual meeting at GE HealthCare's booth 7326, along with GE HealthCare's presentation on how CMX Automate fits into its digital ecosystem.
In order to facilitate CodaMetrix's delivery of its solution, GE HealthCare has developed its own digital platform, which standardizes integration architecture and provides a secure, vendor-neutral environment for aggregating siloed healthcare data and enabling core application functionality. CodaMetrix's addition demonstrates GE HealthCare's commitment to bringing AI powered digital solutions to healthcare providers that address the mission-critical challenges that healthcare providers are facing today.
CMX AutomateTM from CodaMetrix combines machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), and natural language processing (NLP) in order to translate clinical notes into billing codes and diagnostic codes automatically, accurately, and autonomously, ensuring claims consistently reflect the unique and complete episode of care while reducing the amount of time spent by human coders.
By leveraging the power of artificial intelligence-based autonomous medical coding, healthcare providers can reduce costs, improve accuracy, and increase efficiency across the revenue cycle by leveraging the power of AI-based autonomous medical coding. As a result of adopting CMX Automate, healthcare provider organizations, such as Mass General Brigham, University of Colorado Medicine, Yale Medicine, and Henry Ford Health Systems, are already experiencing a significant reduction in claims denials (60%), as well as a significant reduction in coding costs (50%).
"We are honored to have the opportunity to work with GE HealthCare". With this collaboration, CodaMetrix is furthering its mission to make high-quality, consistent coding affordable and reliable through the intelligent application of artificial intelligence and automation, which reflects the company's mission," said Hamid Tabatabaie, CodaMetrix's President and CEO.. It is an exciting time for us as we are able to offer even more providers access to CMX Automate at a time when coder shortages and physician burnout are at all-time highs". We believe that our CMX Automate platform can provide our customers with a level of clinical specificity that is critical to optimizing the revenue cycle management process, but it also contains the potential to support clinical decisions and data-driven research in the future.
