Hexaware expands UK operations with new facility in Birmingham
It has been announced that Indian-owned Hexaware Technologies, a global provider of IT and digital solutions, has opened a new facility based in Birmingham, creating 250 new jobs as part of the next phase of its UK expansion. In addition to cutting the ribbon and lighting a traditional Indian lamp, the Mayor of the West Midlands, Andy Street, took part in a ceremony to officially open the facility at 3, Brindleyplace. After setting up a pilot facility earlier this year to provide on-site support to a few of its clients, Hexaware is now opening a Birmingham base in response to the demand for on-site support from several customers in the city. As a result of the surge in demand for services such as application operations, End-User Computing (EUC) services, and ServiceDesk support in the West Midlands, Hexaware has stepped up its growth in the West Midlands and diversified its portfolio. As part of its plans to provide on-site support to several customers in Birmingham, Hexaware has set up its own Birmingham base, following the establishment of a pilot facility earlier this year. Hexaware has been growing in the West Midlands as a result of a surge in demand for application operations, End-User Computing (EUC) services, as well as ServiceDesk support, which has led it to diversify its portfolio of services while increasing its growth.This expansion plan forms a major part of the business' UK growth strategy, which aims to establish itself as one of the leading providers of innovative IT and digital services in the UK.. By the year 2025, the company is committed to doubling the number of talented professionals it will be able to house within its Birmingham facility.
