Abu Dhabi Finance Week Charts the Rise of the Falcon Economy with the Launch of Abu Dhabi Economic Forum

During the opening ceremony of Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW), which commenced over four days ago in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, it was launched with the launch of the inaugural Abu Dhabi Economic Forum (ADEF) under a specially designed event dome in the South Plaza of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). The ceremony was held under a specially designed event dome.
It was a pleasure to witness the first day of ADFW, which brought together distinguished and high-level leaders from over 100 countries to witness a range of high-level focused sessions, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and presentations, that discussed Abu Dhabi's rise as a global financial center.
As part of the opening ceremony, the legendary investor Ray Dalio gave a thought-provoking keynote speech that delved into the complexities of the changing world order, drawing on his recent book to shed light on the issues. There was no doubt that ADFW was of international significance and that its goal is to explore new paradigms in finance and economics, as evidenced by the participation of influential leaders and prominent figures such as Mr. Dalio.
As part of his address at the opening ceremony of ADFW, His Excellency Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and a Chairman of ADGM and ADDED, welcomed the esteemed guests to Abu Dhabi, the capital of capital, as well as the falcon's playground. The inaugural edition of the Abu Dhabi Economic Forum was conducted in partnership with Abu Dhabi Quality. The high-level event included a series of comprehensive discussions regarding Abu Dhabi's evolving economy within the changing global context.
A distinguished group of leaders participated in the event, including CEOs of sovereign wealth funds such as ADQ and Mubadala, as well as the Ministers of Climate and Economy. A number of strategies were discussed during these discussions which provided an international perspective on how to foster regional monetary cooperation in support of the Falcon Economy.
A session dedicated to ADFW's theme of 'Investing in the Transition Era' was held at the conference, featuring prominent leaders from around the globe, who discussed the economic implications and investment opportunities of a transition.
One of the highlights of the Abu Dhabi Economic Forum was the appearance of Jamie Dimon, Chairman and CEO of JP Morgan Chase & Co, who praised Abu Dhabi's economic growth plans while also announcing that the bank will be expanding its operations in the Emirate in a significant way.
