As part of Noggin, Nickelodeon's interactive learning platform, Noggin has launched Nogginville, a large and ever-evolving interactive world in which kids can apply the skills they have learned through Noggin to real-world situations. Based on the fact that dollhouse play is proven to be beneficial for early childhood development and learning, Nogginville offers a variety of interactive environments, customizable characters and mini learning games based on the concept of dollhouse play.
There will be four exciting locations in Nogginville for children to play in and explore upon launch: the in-game home, the food market, the neighborhood pool, and the local theater. A total of 15 new embedded learning games will be available for children to play within these areas, which will unlock based on the progress of each child. It will also be possible for children to dress up in custom avatars and versions of beloved Nick Jr. characters and interact with the various virtual environments using avatars and versions of those characters.
