It is my sincere pleasure to thank Lieve on behalf of all the Board members, the management and all of the staff for her significant contribution to the growth of the company. As a result of her tenure, Euroclear has been able to further expand its global footprint, enhance its fund offerings, particularly through the acquisitions of MFEX and Goji, strengthen its reputation as a systemic financial market infrastructure, and accelerate the creation of value for shareholders.
Valérie has also played a significant role in the success of Euroclear by serving as a key member of the leadership team. As a result, the Board is delighted with the appointment of such a strong internal leader, and is confident that she will be able to lead the company forward in the near future. As Valérie assumes her new role, the Board is committed to supporting her and her management team in their efforts to deliver value to shareholders, clients, employees, and the communities in which we operate, as well as to shareholders, clients, and employees.
