Ronna Davis Appointed as Vice President of Business Development at VoltServer
It is with great pleasure that VoltServer announces the appointment of Ronna Davis as Vice President of Business Development. Ms. Davis is an industry pioneer in fault-managed power solutions and is pleased to announce her appointment. With over 28 years of experience in the networking and telecommunications industry, Ms. Davis brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to VoltServer as the company continues to redefine intelligent power distribution through the use of their patented Digital ElectricityTM technology. The previous 17 years Ronna Davis spent at CommScope, where she held a variety of key positions in strategy, partner development, and sales, preceded her joining VoltServer. Additionally, she has spent eight years designing and constructing telecommunication networks, as well as two years working in wholesale distribution. A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill's Kenan Flagler Business School and a graduate of the General Motors Accelerate Program, Ms. Davis holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Before joining VoltServer, Ronna Davis spent over 17 years at CommScope where she served in several key positions such as strategy, global partner management, and sales. She has also spent eight years designing and building telecommunications networks and two years working in wholesale distribution over the course of her extensive career. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from UNC-Chapel Hill's Kenan Flagler Business School and has completed the GM Accelerate Program there.Additionally, Ms. Davis has contributed to industry standards and initiatives in addition to her professional accomplishments. She served as the TIA SPEC Chair from 2020 to 2023, was a member of the NIST Smart Building Challenge, and was a member of both the Ethernet Alliance SPE Committee and the USGBC.In her new position, Ms. Davis will focus on building out the global ecosystem around the newly adopted Class 4 NEC code and specifically VoltServer's Digital Electricity.
