SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 23, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Stitch Fix announced today that it had released Style Tune Ups, a unique interactive experience that combines Spotify's sonic sensibilities with Stitch Fix's styling expertise in order to create an interactive experience that is unlike any other. In addition to personalized outfit suggestions based on Stitch Fix's 2024 Style Forecast, it also comes with curated #OOTD playlists, which can be used to get more inspired while getting ready.
In order to emphasize the strong bond between style and music further, Stitch Fix is also introducing Tune Up Styling Sessions, virtual styling appointments that will help concert goers translate their personal Style Forecast trend into the most anticipated tour outfits of this year. As a result of these new initiatives, shoppers can discover looks that reflect their unique taste by combining the creativity and inspiration of style and music.
At Stitch Fix, we are committed to creating new ways for clients to explore their personal style," says Debbie Woloshin, Stitch Fix Chief Marketing Officer. "With this Spotify experience, we are able to incorporate the soundtracks of our clients' lives to allow them to create a more personalized and inspiring experience when building a wardrobe and getting dressed for them."
"The Stitch Fix team analyzed billions of data points from more than 100 million Fixes in order to produce the 2024 Style Forecast, our annual trend report, and found that music will be a significant influence on our clients' styles this year, with nearly four out of five clients taking outfit inspiration from their favorite artist, Taylor Swift," says Jenny Herr, Stitch Fix Head of Trend. As a result of these insights, as well as other music-related insights, we felt it made sense to team up with Spotify, a brand also known for its expertise in data and personalized recommendations.. The launch of Style Tune Ups allows us to blend both of our specialties in order to make getting dressed easier and more inspiring than ever before, while providing clients with a fun and personalized way to marry their love of music with their sense of style at the same time

In order to get started on their Style Tune Up journey, shoppers will need to head over to Spotify where they will be asked a few questions about their personal style in the first place. The experience will then reveal the trend from Stitch Fix's 2024 Style Forecast that embodies the unique style that the individual embodies as a result of the experience. With Spotify, users can create a playlist that reflects their personal style as well as their musical tastes. As soon as the Style Tune Up results are revealed, the customer can head over to Stitch Fix and share their customized results with their Stylist before their next Fix is scheduled.
