It was announced today that the Bloomberg Law School Innovation Program, now in its second year, has selected 12 finalists. With this program, law schools and their faculty and staff are recognized for the innovative programs they have implemented and led in their curricula that lead to advancing new approaches to student instruction, legal technology implementation, experiential learning, and other facets of legal education through the implementation and use of new methodologies and approaches.
The program's call for submissions this year, in response to the upcoming NextGen Bar Exam, invited schools to share innovations in teaching students foundational lawyering skills as part of its call for submissions. The innovations submitted for consideration could be divided into four categories: changing pedagogy, beyond the law, immersive experiences, and career pathing.
The finalists for Law School Innovation 2023-24 were selected based on the criteria of innovation, impact on students, ability to advance the legal industry, and replicability.
As part of the inaugural Law School Innovation Program, the following finalists have been selected:

There were nearly 50 applications submitted from 35 schools across 20+ states that were evaluated by a panel of internal and external experts from Bloomberg Law, including Bloomberg Law analysts as well as industry authorities from all segments of the legal industry.
