  7. Site.com — This gateway gives users access to the SalesForce Lightning app builder, which allows them to quickly create efficient and simple cloud-based apps.
  8. SOAP- This enables complete integration with other systems thanks to the SOAP/REST Web Service API.

Also, a noteworthy point is Salesforce’s venture capital investment in 2014 as the company established a startup fund to finance primarily mobile app development startups.

SalesForce.com has pledged to cooperate with SalesForce.org to donate 1% of corporate resources (employee time, equity, and profit) to organizations that are working to ‘Make the World a Better Place.’ SalesForce.org has reportedly provided over $53 million in grants to individuals and groups as of March 2014 and has helped over 20,000 higher education establishments (including non-profit customers). Non-profit organizations will receive a discount on software from SalesForce.com. It also promotes the importance of higher education by providing large sums of money to educational institutions.
