Southwest Airlines Co., represented by the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA), today announced that the Company’s Aircraft Appearance Technicians have approved a new five-year contract.
According to Adam Carlisle, vice president of labour relations at Southwest Airlines®, “this contract recognises our Appearance Technicians with immediate and future wage increases while continuing to support Southwest’s competitive cost position in the U.S. airline sector.” We would want to express our gratitude to all parties for their efforts in coming up with solutions that made it possible for us to reach this ratified agreement.
Nearly 170 Appearance Technicians at Southwest assist with providing customers and employees with dependable, clean, safe, and secure aircraft. The ratified agreement goes into force right away and can be changed up to July 31, 2027.
