Mobis starts supplying Mercedes-Benz AG with chassis modules for its luxury and performance car brands.

Global automakers now give Mobis’ module technology and quality competitiveness great recognition. Mobis becomes the OEM’s first supplier of chassis modules from outside of Europe.
The new production facility that Mobis has built in McCalla, Alabama, is now fully operational. The business has constructed a new facility to produce mixed-model chassis modules for four different electric SUVs.

The steering, braking, and suspension systems are examples of the parts built under the car body and together referred to as the chassis-module. It also refers to the group of components built for these systems on the frame.
Over the past 20 years or more, Mobis has accumulated for the module development and assembling experience globally. For this new project, the last few years of R&D and the pre-production phases have proven to be a successful demonstration of client satisfaction.
Mobis worked to focus its own R&D efforts with Mercedes-Benz AG to give the best chassis module solutions by carefully following the client’s development ambitions. Now, the world’s most prominent car company is aware of Mobis’ technology and quality control capabilities.
