Wefi, a leader in mobile data collecting, Wi-Fi connection, and big data analytics, has declared the launch of Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) OpenRoamingTM a success.
This success broadens Wefi’s coverage area and gives network operators access to more roaming discounts, revenue streams, and coverage. Operators may improve their subscribers’ user experiences by providing a secure, frictionless connection at a low cost without sacrificing service quality using Wefi’s WeConnect solution and OpenRoaming.
Wefi’s General Manager, Arie Shaham, said that the WBA’s OpenRoaming initiative will allow the company to grow its network. In a simple and safe manner, “our partners can now seamlessly connect their consumers to different global Wi-Fi networks, all while cutting business expenditures.”
In order to simplify user roaming access across cellular, guest Wi-Fi networks, and public Wi-Fi hotspots, OpenRoaming was created as a global standard. Traditional connectivity restrictions that prevent users from connecting to public Wi-Fi networks are eliminated by its user-centric approach. Wherever they are, indoors or out, users may connect to carrier-grade, high-speed networks without having their wireless network connection interrupted. Users won’t need to re-register or enter their login information as a result.
