In collaboration with the Pink Boots Society, Yakima Chief Hops (YCH), a 100% grower-owned worldwide hop provider, is happy to announce the beginning of pre-sales for its 6th Annual Pink Boots Blend (PBS).

PBS is a global non-profit organisation whose goal is to support, uplift, and empower women and non-binary people in the alcoholic beverage and spirits industries through education.

An annual event with a blend hop theme called Pink Boots Blend is held as part of YCH’s mission to encourage those working in the craft beer sector. Over the past six years, YCH and the Pink Boots Society have collaborated to increase support for women and non-binary people, raising more than $500,000 in total scholarship money through the Pink Boots Blend.
A pre-sales application is made available to the craft beer community with an interest in making a Pink Boots beer once PBS members jointly choose the blend. The PBS Scholarship Fund receives some of the sales revenue. This contributes to giving women and non-binary persons in the workplace educational opportunities.
