Today, Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced the availability of the newest PRO-TREK outdoor watch model.

A model called the PRW-61MA was created in association with the Swiss outdoor company MAMMUT.
The PRO TREK and MAMMUT brands are combined in one new model, the PRW-61MA, creating the ideal design for an urban outdoor lifestyle.
The watch comes with two interchangeable straps: a soft urethane strap and a fabric strap that may be worn with various outfits and circumstances. The iconic outdoor brand’s monochromatic MAMMUT Alpen graphic with snowy mountain peaks is displayed on the main strap. The MAMMUT logo is embroidered on the pendant on the strap. The comfortable urethane strap is perfect for daily use and has a stylish black design with the Mammut logo on the strap loop. The watch features the distinctive MAMMUT orange in the brand’s emblem on the dial, hour and minute hands, and buttons in addition to other design elements.
The dedication of both brands to environmental conservation is a key component of this relationship. MAMMUT focuses on getting dangerous compounds out of its manufacturing processes while creating sustainable products. Since March 2022, the PRO TREK line of watches is the first Casio model line to feature watch parts made from biodegradable biomass plastics. The PRW-61MA utilises sustainable materials and represents the enthusiasm for nature preservation shared by the two outdoor businesses. The soft urethane strap is created from biomass plastics utilising castor seed and corn as basic ingredients, while the fabric strap is made from recycled PET material generated from plastic bottles and other plastics. Additionally composed of biomass plastic are the case and case back.
