The Toyota Crown is available in three model levels: XLE, Limited, and Platinum. Customers can choose between the Hybrid MAX or Toyota Hybrid System hybrid powertrains (THS). Toyota’s latest high-performance hybrid, the Hybrid MAX, is projected by the manufacturer to produce 340 net horsepower and 400 net lb-ft of torque. It is exclusive to the Platinum level and combines a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine, a direct-shift 6-speed automatic transmission, front and rear electric motors, and more. Hybrid MAX features an EPA-estimated 30 MPG combined city and highway fuel economy rating and provides strong low-RPM torque for a sporty and exhilarating drive.
