A regional distributor and service provider to the aftermarket automotive replacement glass and paint, body & equipment (“PBE”) industries, Dakotaland Autoglass (“DAG” or “the Company”) has been acquired by West Edge Partners (“WEP”), a lower middle market private equity firm.

The deal’s financial details weren’t made public.
DAG distributes PBE and aftermarket automotive glass in the Midwest and handles its own glass installation and repair in a few markets. The business operates out of 12 locations around the Midwest and enjoys enduring ties with the biggest suppliers in the sector. WEP will work in tandem with DAG management, which is headed by Stan Biondi, the company’s CEO for the past 12 years, to ensure the company’s sustained success and to invest in fresh growth projects.

Cole Kirby, Collaborate at WEP, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Stan Biondi and the DAG team to support the continuing success of the Company. “DAG is in a good position to assist its clients in the quickly developing auto glass and PBE industries. For more than 40 years, DAG has been a top supplier to autobody shops and businesses that install glass in the Midwest. It will continue to be the top distribution and service partner in its area. The management team of DAG and WEP is eager to make an investment in the company to pursue exciting new growth potential.”
