A data security breach that may have affected certain current and previous patients’ data has been made known to Yakima Neighborhood Health Services (“YNHS”)
When YNHS learned that a file containing specific persons’ personal and protected information had been accidentally given to one person on October 4, 2022, it took action to make sure that person erased the file from their possession.
YNHS is informing affected individuals about the steps they can take to help protect their information, even though there is no evidence that any information potentially involved in this incident has been misused. The potentially affected information may include individuals’ names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, and medical treatment locations.
