A contentious social community, Died Suddenly News, has joined Parler, the most popular viewpoint-neutral, free speech social media site.
Tiago Henriques, an AI programmer, founded Died Suddenly News, where he examines the risks and benefits of the Covid-19 vaccination. Big Tech has been cancelling the group, most recently Facebook.
“We welcome Tiago Henriques and his bold community to a location where they will not be silenced,” says George Farmer, CEO of Parler. By preventing individuals from discussing health and mortality, “Big Tech reveals again how badly it wants to control the narrative.”
According to Henriques, the original Facebook group had over 300,000 members before it was shut down because it provided a safe space for people to voice their concerns and share their experiences. One other group amassed 170,000 followers before being shut down.
The creator of the organisation claims Big Tech gave no explanation for the abrupt closure.
