The filing of the third quarter financial statements for the period ended September 30, 2022, as well as the related management’s discussion and analysis and certifications (collectively, the “Filings”), by the filing deadline of November 29, 2022, has been postponed by Hapbee Technologies, Inc. (TSXV: HAPB) (OTCQB: HAPBF) (FSE: HA1) (“Hapbee” or the “Company”). Following a request from the British Columbia Securities Commission (“BCSC”), the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (“IIROC”) suspended trading in the Company’s shares on December 6, 2022 due to a Failure-to-File Cease Trade Order (“FFCTO”).
In order to have the FFCTO lifted, Hapbee must first submit a Reinstatement Application and the Filings to the TSX Venture Exchange for approval. Hapbee’s management and board of directors are now finalising the Filings, and the Company expects to have the aforementioned material ready by the end of this week.
The Canadian Securities Administrators have posted a copy of the FFCTO on their website for public perusal. The Company anticipates the FFCTO to continue until the Filings have been submitted, at which point the FFCTO will be revoked.
Hapbee affirms there have been no modifications to its operations or to its present business strategies. The Company appreciates the support it has received from the TSX Venture Exchange.
