Local governments and hospitals all over the nation have been optimising medical services and the allocation of medical resources to face a likely surge in patients and better take care of the elderly and most vulnerable groups, in line with China’s new guidelines for COVID-19 prevention and control.

The initiatives call for increasing medical resources to give COVID-19 patients priority.
