In order to create standards and collectively define the Mobile Terminal Computational Photography System (MTCPS) in four dimensions, TECNO has discussed its most recent achievements with the International Telecommunication Union-Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T).

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU), which has 193 member governments and more than 900 private-public members, is the most active and legitimate standards collaboration in the world. One of ITU’s three sectors, ITU-T focuses primarily on international telecommunications and information communication technology standardisation (ICTs). ITU-T offers a global forum for the telecom and ICTs sector as well as a single voice for the sector. Following a thorough evaluation process, the four ongoing work items that TECNO is leading in the development of mobile terminal computational photography standards were approved by ITU-T specialists from around the world.
