Cinedigm Corp. (NASDAQ: CIDM), a leading provider of streaming entertainment and technology, today announced the appointment of Marc Rashba to the position of Executive Vice President, Partnerships. Rashba will be in charge of business development, programming content deals, and marketing Cinedigm’s exclusive technology Matchpoint to outside parties using his more than 20 years of experience. He will manage all parts of partnerships in this newly created position, including cultivating and managing strategic alliances, programming releases, contract negotiations, extending digital distribution, and fostering novel new revenue streams. His position is effective right away, and he will answer directly to Erick Opeka, President of Cinedigm Networks and Chief Strategy Officer of Cinedigm Corp.
Rashba has been in charge of spotting future trends and technology, matching material to the appropriate audience, and creating chances from distinctive businesses and partnerships throughout his career. He most recently held the position of President of MovieMethod LLC, where he supervised global digital content sales, marketing, and distribution, before joining Cinedigm. Rashba was in charge of directing strategy, licencing, channel expansion, platform growth, go-to-market strategies for FAST, OTT, SVOD, AVOD, and applications. Sony Pictures, NBCU, Paramount, Anheuser-Busch, Verizon, and others were among the clients. He also collaborated with Anuvu, All3Media, Little Dot Studios, WildBrain, Fandango/Vudu, Vuulr, and other companies throughout his career. Rashba has over 15 years of experience working for Sony in a variety of worldwide marketing roles, including Vice President, Digital Partnerships & Development at Sony Pictures Entertainment.
