Onewheel’s creators, Future Motion, said today that since the launch of the first model in 2014, its community of users has travelled more than 100,000,000 miles cumulatively on Onewheels1.
The Onewheel community has already surpassed 100 million miles rode, just one year after surpassing 50 million. Onewheel riding has shown exponential growth since the introduction of the GT and Pint X, with riders worldwide clocking 50 million kilometres in only the past year.
The information comes from trips that were recorded on the Onewheel companion app, which users can use to track their own progress, modify the board’s Digital Shaping features, look for group rides, and more.
Kyle Doerksen, CEO and founder of Future Motion, said: “This is an incredible milestone for our community. The world on wheels has now travelled farther than it did from the sun to the earth. Eight years ago, if you had told me that, I would have laughed. It’s incredible to see how popular Onewheel riding has become around the world and to consider all the precious experiences people have had while travelling with their boards.
