A memorandum of understanding has been struck between Constellar, the premier partner in Asia for planning cutting-edge event and venue experiences, and Beijing’s National Conference Center (CNCC), home to China’s biggest convention. In 2023, this will make it possible for Constellar and the CNCC to investigate potential strategic alliances and promote business networking during MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibits) between Singapore and China.
MICEs are still a dynamic growth engine as economies and borders are reopening. The MICE sector in Singapore has made a fantastic comeback, and there is a robust pipeline of international events in 2023 and beyond. This can also be seen in the increasing interest from event planners to hold their events at the Constellar-run centre, EXPO Singapore, where reservations have so far surpassed pre-Covid levels by over 65%. Constellar also attracted more than 87,000 visitors to its four major trade fairs in 2022: the Singapore FinTech Festival, Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC, BuildTech Asia, and Agri-Food Tech Expo Asia. Constellar will broaden its portfolio through organic and inorganic growth in 2023, and this MOU will help to increase its overall worldwide presence in China.
After China’s borders reopen this month, more international events and gatherings are anticipated to return to Beijing. More than 50 Fortune Global 500 firms and more than 100 of China’s major companies are based in Beijing, one of the world’s greatest metropolitan economies. The strategic collaboration will use the combined knowledge and experience of both parties to assist the production of new events, talent exchanges, and in-person knowledge sharing against the backdrop of a shifting event landscape and rising demand for in-person events.
