The Dallas Morning News’ annual list of the top places to work in the Metroplex included Allied Electronics & Automation, a trading brand of RS Group plc (LSE: RS1) and a global omni-channel provider of product and service solutions. In the category of major companies, Allied placed 20th. It was last noted in 2011 on the list.

The company, which has fought for inclusivity, worker well-being, retention, and recruiting, has received a new workplace award. Allied was recognised as one of North America’s 50 Most Inspiring Workplaces in July. In order to improve the experience for employees, clients, and suppliers, Allied introduced a new hybrid office space in June along with a more accommodating and flexible work paradigm. Additionally, it improved benefits for domestic and same-sex partners and expanded coverage for medical care that is gender affirming.

According to Katie Cartwright, vice president of people at Allied, “it is incredibly uplifting to earn an award like this because of the way it’s reviewed by an outside body gathered from the replies of our employees.” “We make fantastic happen because of our leadership’s continued commitment to establishing a diverse and inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable expressing their real self to the workplace.”
