In order to advance the Emirati publishing sector, the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC), a division of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), will attend the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2022.

Words connect worlds: Translate. Transfer. Transform is the subject of this year’s Fair, which takes place from October 19 to October 23.
The ALC will visit the Frankfurt Book Fair to increase its presence in potential publishing markets abroad and to raise awareness of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) and other initiatives and events it manages.
The Center seeks to establish strategic partnerships with German partners and investigate contemporary trends in publishing and the creative industries.
The Frankfurt Book Fair and the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre have established a solid cooperation that has lasted for many years, according to His Excellency Dr. Ali Bin Tamim, Chairman of the ALC. Through this partnership, our two organisations have strengthened and supported the local, regional, and global cultural scenes through ground-breaking works, initiatives, and projects. The Fair provides a forum for discussing important advances and exchanging experiences.
