/PRNewswire/ LONDON, Nov. 21, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Amazon Web Services (AWS) and SoftwareOne Holding AG, a global provider of end-to-end software and cloud technology solutions, have announced a new collaborative initiative aimed at assisting customers with the transition to RISE with SAP in an AWS cloud environment. This bundle combines SoftwareOne's deep SAP advisory and implementation expertise with Amazon Web Services technologies in order to expedite the SAP transformation process for clients. It is referred to as Ready for RISE on AWS.
There is a growing pressure on companies to decide how to modernise their SAP environments at a time when mainstream SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC) support ends in 2027, which prompted the collaboration to take place at a time when organisations were under increasing pressure to do so. Despite the imminent deadline, many organisations are still confused as to which path to take, and when to adopt RISE with SAP, SAP's bundled offering of cloud solutions, infrastructure, and services that helps migrate SAP ERP to the cloud.

Over half of the respondents (52%) were still unsure about how RISE with SAP would impact their current relationships with cloud service providers.
