Barb Taps MetaBroadcast and Nielsen’s Gracenote to Optimize TV Audience Measurement in UK
LONDON, December 7, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- MetaBroadcast, the UK's leading metadata management specialist, and Gracenote, a Nielsen company, are pleased to announce today that Barb, the UK's largest audience measurement service, has awarded MetaBroadcast a three-year contract renewal to operate Barb's combined content ID and genre allocation system beginning in January of 2025.In addition to reducing timescales for accurate programme identification, validation, enrichment and genre classification, MetaBroadcast will be able to improve coverage and accuracy of broadcaster IDs by using Gracenote schedule metadata and unique content identifiers, which are industry-leading.
