Carolyn Pleiss will start on October 2 as the next senior vice president and chief information officer of Cox Enterprises, it was announced today.

In this position, Pleiss will create and deliver company-wide IT strategy and capabilities. This covers application development, security and compliance, architecture, infrastructure, and programme management.

Dallas Clement, president and chief financial officer of Cox Enterprises, said Carolyn has a good idea of where the company needs to go and would help them improve on existing plans. “Her time at Cox has equipped her properly for this job, and we’re eager to see how she can assist us achieve the lofty objectives we have for the future.”
