In the Mumbai Cloud & Datacenter Convention and Awards 2023, a number of industry stalwarts are expected to speak. The panel discussion will consist of Kamal Nath (CEO, Sify Technologies), Sumit Mukhija (CEO, STT Global Data Centers – India), Sujeet Deshpande (Founder & CEO - India, Lumina Cloud Infra), and Sanjay Bhutani (CEO, AdaniConneX) who will discuss the issue of whether or not building at scale will be able to keep up with projected digital growth?
Despite the slow growth of the industry in the region, Sumit Mukhija (CEO, STT Global Data Centers - India) feels optimistic about the future of the industry. Shirsat will deliver a special keynote address on the topic of "Building and scaling AI infrastructure in India" at the conference.. According to him, even though AI and Machine Learning (ML) requirements have just begun to hit the market in recent years, they have come with a huge bang.. In order to meet the requirements of artificial intelligence, data centre infrastructure design is undergoing a generational shift. ML and AI systems are typically run on huge clusters of GPUs that are packed with a lot of power - the processing units required to do the work. In order to meet these requirements, DC infrastructure will need to evolve in order to become AI-ready, and operators will need to adopt new design and architectures suitable for AI operations in order to meet these demands. It might be too early to assess their potential at this point. In the coming years, the demand for AI-ready DC capacity is expected to grow at a rate of 80%+

During the event, Siddharth Jain (MD, EPI India) will also deliver a special keynote address entitled, "The Future of Data Center Operations: A Quality Management framework with a maturity-level approach to Quality Management".. The CSO of Mitsubishi Electric India Ltd (Rajeev Sharma) will deliver other such special addresses at the event.There were also Deepak Singh Thakur (Power Conversion Business Director, Socomec Group) and Sanjay Motwani (VP, Data, Power and Control, Legrand) at the event.. Roopak Karkala, the Vice President of Industrial Automation at Evio Pvt. Ltd., will present a Tech Bench presentation on electrical power management systems (EPMS) for Data Centers. Asim Ansari (Commercial Director of Airedale by Modine) will present another of these Tech Bench presentations on a brand new range of data center fan wall panels.
