AWS Sustainable Cities Accelerator for Infrastructure is a technical, business, and mentorship programme for startups looking to use Amazon Web Services (AWS) to improve infrastructure sustainability. Conservation Labs today announced that it has been chosen to take part in the programme. This chance will help Conservation Labs in its monitoring of water equipment and systems in the built environment.
The four-week AWS Sustainable Cities Accelerator programme offers practical AWS technical and cloud training, as well as business support, coaching, and mentoring. Conservation Labs will receive up to $100,000 in computing credits, training and support, mentoring, and additional business development resources from AWS as one of the nine companies selected for this opportunity. These resources will also include chances to speak with clean tech venture investors.
“Global sustainability and carbon emissions will be significantly impacted by digitising the world’s water use.”
Tweet this Conservation Labs is finding solutions for the 5+ trillion gallons of unnecessary water use, energy waste, and carbon emissions worldwide. Water transportation and use are among the biggest energy consumers in the world, accounting for 3-8% of energy consumption in various parts of the United States and the rest of the world and producing up to 3.0 Gt of CO2 annually.
