CSS Federal Wins Multiple Contracts in Support of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)

C&T, a wholly owned subsidiary of CSS Federal, has been awarded multiple contracts with CMS for the Network of Quality Improvement and Innovation Contractors (NQIIC) IDIQ, a Special Innovation Project (SIP) for Community Providers and Local Students (PALS), and as a result of the Measure & Instrument Development and Support (MIDS) IDIQ, an order has been placed for the CoreQ Short Stay Discharge Satisfaction Questionnaire in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) Setting.
In order to continue to support CMS and expand our healthcare business, we are very grateful for the chance to do so. In addition to bringing to light the consequences of loneliness and social deprivation for residents of skilled nursing facilities, the work under these contracts aims to educate the public about where high-quality services can be found and how to improve them for residents. According to Hetel Patel, CSS Federal's CEO, the work under these contracts is centered on people.
In the role of prime contractor on the NQIIC PALS SIP, C&T will assist CMS in recruiting students who are interested in health care fields (e.g..Students in the fields of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, etc..Having the ability to engage with residents of skilled nursing facilities in order to address the social isolation and loneliness that are commonly experienced by residents of these facilities. In addition, a major objective of this project is to increase the interest of students in gerontological career pursuits, as well as to raise their awareness of the impact of social isolation and loneliness on an individual's well-being.

As the prime contractor on the MIDS CoreQ, C&T is continuing to improve the lives of SNF residents by assisting CMS in the implementation of the national CoreQ survey. This survey of short stay residents (<100 days) assesses the level of overall satisfaction with the services provides at the SNF and is intended to help both SNFs to target improvements and inform public users on where high satisfaction services can be found.
