Entergy announces new partnership to address the racial wealth gap, empower HBCU students for future success
Entergy has launched a new initiative, The Power of Prosperity, a partnership with Single Stop and Stackwell to ensure that Historically Black Colleges and Universities, or HBCUs, students are successful and are positioned to build wealth for themselves and their generations in the years to come.. It is expected that 1,500 freshmen and first-year transfer students at Dillard University, Southern University at New Orleans and Xavier University of Louisiana will be offered free of charge as a part of the Power of Prosperity initiative as the result of a $700,000 donation provided by Entergy shareholders..
