As part of its product launch event on October 25th, the 3D printing company Forivory, a brand from Jelect, hosted a product launch event with its distributor 3Dcloud at its headquarters (Seoul). The representative of the newly-established company Forivory said that the company has received positive responses from both company officials and customers in the Korean market.
In the course of this event, Forivory announced the launch of its first product, the FT400, and provided it to the market through the local distributor, 3DCloud. The first impression of the newly introduced product is the excellent build quality as a result of the use of acrylic exteriors and CNC machining methods during the manufacturing process. To introduce advanced 3D technology in modern civilization, the brand Forivory was launched to introduce advanced 3D technology to modern civilization, in response to the idea that plastic injection technology has replaced elephant ivory - the first natural plastic raw material to be used in plastic manufacturing.

Forivory announced at this event the launch of its first product, the FT400, and supplied it to the market through the local distributor of the company, 3Dcloud.. In my opinion, the first impression of the launched product follows the excellent build quality achieved through the use of acrylic exteriors and CNC machining in the manufacturing process. To introduce advanced 3D technology in modern civilization, the brand name Forivory was launched in response to the idea that the advent of plastic injection technology has caused elephant ivory - the first natural plastic raw material - to disappear as a raw material for plastic.

A 3D printer must possess a number of basic elements, namely high performance, high efficiency, and stability, so the R&D Team developed their products based on these three criteria. In particular, Forivory's XTC (X-axis gantry toolchanger) technology resolves the issue of "slow output speed due to large and heavy heads" that other multi-nozzle 3D printer manufacturers have been experiencing on the market.
The company proudly presented the 'high-performance' FT400, adopting toolchanger technology for high-speed printing of heterogeneous materials with high speed. Planetary Gear allows for an extremely high gear ratio of 5:1 while weighing over 40% lighter than the existing extruder. Aside from the fact that the extruder can be easily replaced by latches located along the left and right sides of the X-axis, this method is superior to the magnetic method.
As a result of utilizing this technology, travel distance and unnecessary movements have been minimized, and the CoreXY structure is ideal for high-speed operation as compared to the previous IDEX technology.
Furthermore, with a large build volume (400*400*600 mm) and a wide range of capabilities, the FT400 can be applied to a variety of applications, such as helmets and thigh sockets, and can meet the demands of a variety of users. FT400 is a versatile and smart choice that can be applied 'efficiently' to a variety of applications.
Instead of using the existing top-down method, the bottom-up technique is utilized in order to ensure stable output even in large volumes, as the XY gantry moves up and down with the help of a high-performance ball screw in order to achieve stable output. As a result, the bottom and top layers are of better quality without any errors, such as sagging beds.
Rather than requiring the user to perform manual or semi-automatic leveling, the Z-axis can now be controlled with four motors so that full-auto leveling can be performed.
In addition, flow rate control and inertia have been reduced by the use of a 'pressure advance' and 'input shape' functions of high-performance 32-bit firmware, which has the ability to control the flow rate and provide excellent output quality using a 'vision sensor system'.
It is Forivory's goal to maintain consistent output quality, even in South Korea's 3D printing environment, which has four seasons with heavy snowfalls and deluges. To this end, it is equipped with an 'Active-heated chamber system' that is capable of guaranteeing 'stable' 3D printing quality for users anywhere in the world.
Software for Maker Station allows the device to be monitored, and if there is a printing error, a notification is sent to the user via their smartphone. The device can be controlled externally, and with firmware updates, the functions of the device are constantly improving.
Additionally, the smart cabinet of the device can hold four filaments (1 kilogram each). In addition to the extra filament being provided automatically by the supply device when the stored filament runs out, the UPS function provides a backup for power outages, ensuring stable and continuous operation when the power goes out.
In addition to the already available PLA, PETG, TPU, and PP, the device can also print engineering plastics such as PC, ABS, Carbon, and Nylon, in addition to the currently available PLA, PETG, TPU, and PP.
According to a representative from Forivory, "our goal is to begin distribution to the Korean market through this event and online recruitment of overseas and local distributors (www.jelect.com) in order to prepare for overseas delivery after participating in SIMTOS in April 2024.".
