As part of its Software-as-a-Service business, Engine by Starling, Starling Bank is working with GFT, the global digital transformation pioneer, as its implementation partner.
A cloud native, modular, API-driven banking platform created by Starling's own in-house tech team to run Starling Bank is now available to banks across the globe as part of Engine by Starling. Engine's first two customers have recently been announced: Salt Bank in Romania and AMP Bank in Australia. Engine is now available to banks around the world.

The GFT Group has been selected as one of Engine's partners for the provision of design, integration, and implementation services for banks who adopt the Engine platform.
As the CEO of Engine by Starling, Sam Everington, commented, "We have partnered with GFT because of their deep technical skills, platform focus, and entrepreneurial attitude." Similarly to how Starling disrupted the UK banking industry, Engine's mission is to empower our clients to disrupt their markets in the same way. GFT's global footprint makes them a great partner for accelerating Engine's growth."
In her remarks, Mariika Lulay, CEO of GFT, stated: "There is a great deal of demand for a proven, scalable system in the market that can assist existing banks with replatforming or new banks in launching as quickly as possible." With Engine by Starling's cutting-edge technology combined with GFT's expertise in systems integration, we will be able to launch a state-of-the-art digital bank in no time at all."
