GoPro Named Official Action Camera of X Games Elite Ski + Snowboard Competition
X Games Aspen 2024 (NASDAQ: GPRO) announced today that it will be the official action camera partner for the elite ski and snowboard event, and GoPro (NASDAQ: GPRO) is the official action camera company for the event. Over 100 of the biggest names in action sports will compete in front of live crowds in Aspen, Colorado, with an additional 2.4 million viewers tuned in from home across ABC and ESPN broadcasts, making this one of the biggest snow events of the year with some of the most coveted action sports medals outside of the Olympics.A GoPro HD HERO camera was first used by GoPro to share never-before-seen athlete follow cam footage and a preview of the course from a GoPro POV with X Games in the early 2010s.
