Parker Shi, vice-president of GWM, wanted to emphasise that the company paid close attention to the global sales growth dynamic. GWM will make the best use of its forest ecosystem in order to promote a brighter future with more advanced and smarter new energy vehicles in order to continue expanding the global market and meeting the needs of foreign customers.
The same day, the company invited more than 200 international distributors to stop by the GWM booth at the car show, its retail locations, and its experience centre in Bangkok to learn more about the full range of GWM products and innovative energy-related technology.
An ASEAN member state distributor stated: “A number of innovative energy-efficient vehicles and technologies demonstrate the power of GWM. As a business partner, I have complete confidence in the company’s new electrical products.
GWM also organised a variety of test activities on December 1 including 0-100 km/h acceleration, slalom, and automatic stationing in order to give distributors a more authentic experience with the company’s new energy-efficient vehicles and sophisticated technologies. The test models included the HAVAL H6 PHEV, H6 HEV, JOLION HEV, ORA GOOD CAT (also known as FUNKY CAT on the European market), TANK300, and GWM POER.
« Different GWM models are widely used in Australia. The results of the tests performed on ORA GOOD CAT were excellent. This model is impressive with its easily recognisable carrosserie and line and comfortable interior. Following its introduction to the Australian market, ORA GOOD CAT “will bring about revolutionary changes on the local market,” according to one Australian distributor.
The GWM staff members recorded distributor feedback during the tests. During the trial run, the distributors approved the models and took into account some local customer demands and conduct norms. In addition, certain distributors were prepared to introduce GWM’s new energy-efficient products in order to encourage the sale of automobiles on the regional market.
