He sits on the board of the Middle East Institute and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

According to General John Abizaid, "HawkEye 360's work is essential to fostering a safer and more secure world, including in the Middle East and the Indo-Pacific regions." "I'm excited to be a part of this innovative team that is highlighting the crucial contribution that commercial defence technologies make to our overall national security."

"I'm thrilled to be back with the HawkEye 360 team in this capacity and to be joining such a distinguished cohort of advisors," said Kari Bingen. HawkEye 360 serves as an example of the contribution that commercial space may make to global security and national defence.

the prestigious Jim Cooper, a former congressman from Tennessee who just resigned, spent 32 years in the House of Representatives, serving on eight different committees, including the Intelligence Committee. As the former chairman of the Strategic Forces Subcommittee of the U.S. House Armed Services Committee, Jim contributed to the creation of the U.S. Space Force. Jim collaborated with Representative Mike Rogers (R-AL) in 2017 on a plan to create a space corps under the Department of the Air Force in the United States. The plan was approved by the House, and two years later a legislation establishing the U.S. Space Force was brought into effect. Cooper got his B.A. as a Morehead Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, his J.D. from Harvard Law School, and his M.A. as a Rhodes Scholar from Oxford University. He is penning a book about the Space Force's early years.
