There is a strong emphasis on privacy and transparency with Ai Pin. The device only activates upon the user's activation and does not employ 'wake words', making it clear that the device is not always listening or recording. Among the many features of Ai Pin is the prominent Trust Light, which illuminates when any sensors are active and is controlled by a dedicated privacy chip. If this is compromised, Ai Pin will shut down and need humane's assistance.
