Hyundai Motor North America, which includes Hyundai Motor America and Genesis Motor America, Hyundai Capital America, and Hyundai Motor Group, announces a multifaceted hurricane relief programme of up to $17 million to support communities affected by Hurricane Ian.
The programme will provide financial assistance to current Hyundai and Genesis owners, potential customers, and dealers affected by the hurricane in Florida and throughout the southern region. Customers who qualify for payment relief options from Hyundai Capital America, which comprises Hyundai Motor Finance and Genesis Finance, will also receive financial assistance in times of need.
According to Jose Muoz, president and CEO of Hyundai Motor North America, “Hyundai is profoundly dedicated to aiding people affected by Hurricane Ian, which ravaged Southwest Florida and caused significant flooding throughout the South.” “We are here to give immediate support and aid in putting communities back on the path to recovery,” the statement reads.
To help with Hurricane Ian relief operations, the American Red Cross will receive a separate $1 million donation from Hyundai Motor Group. The initiative is a continuation of Hyundai’s long-running Assurance programme, which is devoted to the safety, health, and welfare of its clients, staff members, dealers, and the communities in which it operates.
