IBM and Salesforce Expand Partnership to Advance Open, Trusted AI and Data Ecosystems

The IBM watsonx artificial intelligence and data platform will be integrated with the Einstein 1 platform to give teams the flexibility to make data-driven decisions.
The expanded relationship spans data integration, flexibility in large language models, prebuilt actions, and a commitment to responsible AI development.
Customers can choose the LLMs that best suit their needs through the Bring Your Own Large Language feature.

The integration of IBM Granite models with the Einstein 1 Platform will allow customers of IBM watsonx and Salesforce to use Granite models in a variety of use cases.
The Einstein 1 Platform uses a common framework to power the next generation of artificial intelligence solutions, including Einstein Copilot.

IBM is creating industry-specific prompt templates and copilot actions which are expected to be made available in Einstein 1 Studio later this year.
Public sector use cases such as government contact centers, eligibility determination, and licensing and permitting are some of the use cases that prompt templates are designed for.
IBM is helping customers establish sustainable, responsible artificial intelligence frameworks to scale their artificial intelligence initiatives across the enterprise, speeding time to value and helping mitigate risk.
The Zero Copy Partner Network is a global network of technology and solution providers building secure, zero copy integrations with the Data Cloud so data can be actioned across the platform.
Zero copy allows businesses to keep their data in its original location while accessing external data from the cloud to create a comprehensive view of the customer.
