In a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Ten Cent Cloud, the cloud division of global technology giant Ten Cent, and Startup Factory China, with their integrated Smart Factory Kunshan IIoT Hub, laid the groundwork for more intensive collaboration.
Through Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions and cloud technologies, the goal is to support Chinese and German small and medium-sized firms (SMEs) in their digitization.
According to McKinsey’s latest Forecast “Cloud in China,” the digitization of manufacturing and maintenance services would result in a 32% increase in IT workloads across all industries by 2025 and a 21% increase in manufacturing on (mainly private) clouds.
For this transformational move, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in particular need a strong partner like Tencent Cloud. This is true not just for cloud-based data storage but also for the creation of data-driven service and maintenance models for your Chinese consumers.
Tencent Cloud will gain access to a strong platform for Industry 4.0 events as well as the ability to demonstrate its IIoT solutions for small and medium-sized businesses in the real world by enrolling in the Smart Factory Kunshan Partner Program. Tencent Cloud will also become an active member of the IIoT hub community from the very beginning. Both parties also intend to jointly host IIoT events in the Smart Factory Lab and put IIoT solutions for manufacturing from Tencent Cloud into practise.
