The results of the second annual Crypto Literacy Survey, which were released today by CryptoLiteracy.org, a business initiative promoting widespread consumer education of digital currencies, showed an increase in crypto literacy as well as an increase in interest in learning more about cryptocurrencies. The study was carried out in support of Crypto Literacy Month (November), a project spearheaded by Coinme with backing from companies including CoinDesk and MoneyGram.
According to Neil Bergquist, CEO and co-founder of Coinme, “now more than ever, it’s crucial we boost crypto literacy and help consumers grasp the complexities of crypto, such how to self-custody and safely transact.”

Although these findings imply that there is still room for improvement in crypto literacy, they are also encouraging because they show that consumers are becoming more eager to learn about crypto and, as a result, more knowledgeable about it and more likely to take the appropriate actions to improve their personal outcomes.
