Why do you adore Guizhou Province in southwest China? Tell everyone you know about it.
More than 100 short films from a dozen nations, including France, Germany, the Netherlands, Thailand, and China, were submitted to “100 Reasons to Love Guizhou,” a global short film competition sponsored by the Moutai Group and run by the Guizhou Daily. These films tell wonderful stories about Guizhou.
Former Moutai Group chairman Ji Keliang started working there in 1964. He spent almost 60 years in Guizhou after being born in Jiangsu Province. He was employed at Moutai as a technician for the most of his career. “I love Guizhou, especially for its Moutai liquor producing method,” Mr. Ji exclaimed.
Born and reared in Guizhou, Zhou Yuan is the creator and CEO of Zhihu, a Chinese question-and-answer website with 100 million members. I’m continuously inspired by Guizhou’s tireless efforts and ingenuity, he remarked. Despite being underdeveloped twenty years ago, Guizhou Province grabbed its opportunity to grow the big data business and has since emerged as the “star” of southwest China.
Famous Chinese author Ye Xin claims, “Guizhou has been an inspiration for my writings. The “hued” ethnic groups of Guizhou give it a very sophisticated writing style. As a result, he developed his own language and produced more than 100 novels.
