Leanne G. Caret has been chosen as a director by the board of directors of Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX), the company announced today. Caret is a seasoned executive in the aerospace and military sectors who most recently worked for The Boeing Company as executive vice president and senior advisor.

Caret previously held the positions of president and chief executive officer of Boeing Defense, Space & Security, which offers solutions for customers in the defence, government, space, intelligence, and security sectors, as well as executive vice president of The Boeing Company. Prior to joining Boeing, Caret served in a number of positions, including president of the Global Services & Support division, chief financial officer for Defense, Space & Security, vice president and general manager of Vertical Lift, vice president of the H-47 Programs, and general manager of Global Transport & Executive Systems.
